Flow Information for Whitewater Rafting the Lower Klamath
The Lower Klamath usually runs year round. The main whitewater rafting season runs from April - October, 7 days a week. Consistent flows are controlled by Iron Gate Reservoir, plus added runoff from side streams. The flow gauge at Orleans is the flow, minus the flow of the Salmon River (spring only). All flows are measured in Cubic Feet Per Second or CFS.
